History

James Stafford Chartered Accountants was founded in and has close ties with Vancouver, British Columbia.

The ancestors of the Firm's original founder built and lived in the first home in Vancouver located on the present day McCleery Golf Course near Kerrisdale, Vancouver. Decendants have been actively involved in Vancouver business life ever since, including Mr. Stanley James who was a public accountant with Holmon James & Company in the 1890s, one of the first businesses in Vancouver. Mr. Stanley James was also the auditor of the City of Vancouver from 1894 to 1903.
